Who I Am and How I Work
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist who works with individuals in therapy, intensive therapy, and psychoanalytically informed work. Therapy offers a place to begin making sense of experiences that feel difficult to name or understand. I specialize in helping clients navigate a range of challenges, including stage-of-life transitions, work and relationship difficulties, anxiety, trauma, grief, and depression. I earned my M.S.W. in Clinical Social Work from New York University and have completed comprehensive advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, along with ongoing training in contemporary psychoanalysis. This depth of training reflects my commitment to providing effective, nuanced care to each client.
Building a trusting, non-judgmental relationship is central to my work. Together, we’ll explore patterns of thought and behavior that contribute to your challenges and begin to understand what stands in the way of feeling more grounded and connected. By increasing self-awareness and reflective capacity, you can create meaningful change over time.
In addition to my clinical work, I teach psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Psychoanalytic Association of New York (PANY), affiliated with NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting. A careful consultation allows us to address your concerns and determine how we might work together. When you're ready, I invite you to reach out. I am here to listen with care, sensitivity, and an open mind.
